Ukraine extends missile development program until 2031

The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine announced that Ukraine’s missile development projects have been extended until 2031, with the approval of President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Tests of Olha-M and Neptune missiles continued in 2019-2020. By the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine in 2021, the missile program was extended until 2031 and the total budget of the program is expected to reach $6.5bn in February 2020, with the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and the approval of the President, it became possible to order the Neptune missile by the state, the Ukrainian official announced.
