Ukraine marks 9 May Victory Day

Ukraine, like many other nations across the world, is commemorating the 78th anniversary of Victory Day, the Allied Forces’ triumph over Nazi Germany on May 9, 1945, which marked the end of World War II in Europe. Many Ukrainians laid flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier monument to remember the efforts that brought the tragic era to a conclusion.
