Ukraine Reveals Audio of North Korean Troops in Russia

Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Directorate (DIU) has released audio recordings of North Korean soldiers stationed in Russia’s Kursk region, reportedly fighting against Ukraine. The recordings reveal the soldiers using coded military terms like “Seal 1” and “Seal 2” for signal control, with one soldier instructing another to “Wait.” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently confirmed that Ukrainian forces have encountered North Korean troops, with at least 11,000 North Korean soldiers reportedly deployed along the Russian border. Zelenskyy described the presence of North Korean troops as a “new page of instability in the world.”
