Ukraine strikes Byransk region, Russia says

Russian officials on Thursday said two Ukrainian helicopters attacked a village of Klimovo in the Bryansk region.  “Russia launched a criminal case regarding the bombing of the village of Klimovo, Bryansk region by Ukrainian military personnel. It was determined that the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a sabotage attack among themselves to prevent Russia’s special military operations in Ukraine. Ukrainian military personnel illegally entered Russian airspace on April 14, 2022, using two combat helicopters equipped with heavy assault weapons. Moving at low altitude, they carried out at least 6 airstrikes on residential buildings in the village of Klimovo, Bryansk region,” Russian officials announced. It was also reported that 7 people were injured in the attack.

Bryansk Regional Governor Alexander Bogomaz also blamed the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the bombing of the village of Klimovo.
