Ukraine strikes Russian ammunition depot in Kherson

A Russian ammunition depot in the Kherson region of the Russian-occupied was hit by Ukraine. The ammunition depot was targeted by Ukrainian rockets in the city of Nova Kakhovka, local sources stated. After the big explosions in the ammunition depot, a fire broke out.

Aleksey Arestovich, Advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine, said in a statement on his social media account, “Yesterday in the city of Nova Kakhovka, the 49th Army Command in the Kherson region, the air force and the warehouses with air defense missiles were attacked. According to preliminary information, 200 injured in total, over 100 dead. Some will not survive. Evacuation groups were formed for some of the wounded and dead.”
