Demonstrations and marches were held across Poland to commemorate the first anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

On the 1st anniversary of Russia’s occupation of Ukraine, Ukrainians living in Poland held a demonstration in front of the Russian Embassy with the slogan “365 days of heroism, 365 days of support” and demanded the end of the war and occupation.

The crowd gathered in front of the embassy on the street renamed “Victims of Russian Aggression” in Warsaw, chanted slogans such as “Long live Ukraine”, “Long live Poland”, “Long live Belarus”, and called on Putin to “stop the war.”

The crowd, held banners that demanded the supply of F-16 planes to Ukraine and an increase in military support and protested shopping from brands that help Russia financially, the income Russia has obtained from energy resources, and the damage it has caused to Ukraine since the beginning of the war.
