Ukraine’s Drone Attacks Kill Three in Southern Russia

A major Ukrainian drone offensive struck southern Russia, killing three people and injuring 16 in Novorossiysk, Rostov-on-Don, and the Krasnodar region. Rostov Governor Yuri Slyusar reported damage to a paint shop, a warehouse, four apartment buildings, and 12 houses. Krasnodar Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said the region faced “one of the longest and largest attacks” and confirmed six injuries and damage to 20 apartment buildings. Footage online showed a kamikaze drone hitting a building in Novorossiysk, home to a Russian naval base. Russia’s Defense Ministry said 249 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight, including 116 over the Black Sea.
