Russian attacks in Ukraine continued throughout the night. Nine civilians were killed including 2 children in the Russian air strike. Sumi Governor Dmytro Zhyvytskyy announced that also 4 Ukrainian soldiers lost their lives in the clashes. Zhyvytskyy said, “It was a difficult day for the Sumi region. Russian planes struck civilian settlements in the Sumi region. There are dead and injured, including children. Rescue teams continue to work in the area. What rules can we talk about in a war where children are killed and bombs are dropped on them” he said.
A heating plant was also damaged in the attacks in the city of Okhtyrka, the Governor said.
