Ukrainian Drone Strikes Destroys MiG-29 Fighter Jet

As Ukraine marked its 35th Independence Day in the shadow of war, its Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) unleashed a major overnight offensive, hitting 66 Russian targets. The coordinated drone strikes struck a MiG-29 fighter jet, four radar systems, energy facilities, and logistics centers across Russia and occupied territories. Highlighting the scale of the operation, USF Commander Robert Brovdi stated, “Eleven enemy temporary deployment points in the occupied Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions were engulfed in flames.” The sweeping attacks also destroyed a Russian special forces base and struck two “shadow fleet” vessels in the Black Sea, demonstrating Ukraine’s expanding reach behind enemy lines.
