Ukrainian soldier Roman, who is in Bakhmut in the Donetsk region where the violent clashes between Ukraine and Russia continue, offered his condolences to Türkiye in a video.
“I love your country, I love your people. I’m really sorry for what happened. This tragedy is terrifying, terrifying. We Ukrainians know how terrible it is for innocent people to die. That’s why we want to say this. Stay strong. God bless you. Save as many people as possible and stay strong. You are on our minds,” said Roman.
