Hundreds of civilians were killed in Bucha as a result of clashes and shelling by Russia. Due to the clashes, the people of the region were unable to arrange a funeral for their relatives who had died, as well as bury their relatives’ bodies. With the Russian army’s withdrawal from the city, however, the people of the region were able to leave their homes and bury their relatives. One of them is Natalia, an elderly woman who lived with her older brother. Natalia buried her brother in the garden of her home after he died in the conflict. When she showed her brother’s grave, the old woman couldn’t hold back her tears.
