Ukrainians hit the streets against the Russian threat

On Saturday, Ukrainians gather in country’s capital Kiev against Russian invasion, and carried out “March of Unity for Ukraine” named demonstration in the city. While slogans against Russia were shouted at the demonstration, a former Soviet Union soldier Vasily made statements about the Russian invasion during the demonstration. Vasily expressed his gratitude for the fact that Turkey is with them and expressed his gratitude for the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Bayraktar.

“Today, those who wanted to protect Ukraine’s freedom and independence were here. Give Crimea back to us. Don’t make fools of us by citing the Minsk Agreements. We are grateful to Turkey, our southern neighbor. First of all, we are grateful for your moral support and for the Bayraktar,” Vasily said while stating that they are aware of Turkey’s political and military support.

Meanwhile, a protester said during protest, “So today Ukrainian patriots came to this rally, which is called “March of Unity for Ukraine”, to show that we are united and Ukrainians will resist if Russia will invade Ukraine again. This is why we wanted to show that we are ready to forget about all our arguments just to defend our country.”
