Ultra-Orthodox Jews Protests Recruitment to Israeli Army

Ultra-Orthodox Jews staged a protest against the Israeli government’s decision to recruit them in the army in front of the recruitment office in Jerusalem.

Ultra-Orthodox Jews had been exempted from military service for decades due to their beliefs, which dictate them such rules as avoiding killing a person or being in the same environment with women.
