The tunnel section under the Thames River, located between the Ebbsfleet and St. Pancras international train stations in England, flooded due to a leak. At least 20 train services were canceled as a result of the incident. Passengers who were traveling to other European countries for the New Year celebrations were stranded. Authorities said they were working on the problem, but the number of canceled expeditions is expected to increase.
