Campers in the Tunceli province of eastern Türkiye captured a surprising late-night encounter when a bear wandered into their site at the Munzur Valley. Completely unbothered by a group of loudly barking dogs, the bear calmly sat down and enjoyed its meal. The unusual standoff between the relaxed animal and the frantic dogs was recorded on a camper’s cell phone. Local residents shared that the bear is a familiar sight in the area and has become quite accustomed to roaming near human settlements.
