UNRWA: “63 Women are Killed Every Day in Gaza”

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) shared some data on women killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on International Women’s Day. According to the given data, an average of 63 women, 37 of whom are mothers, die daily in Gaza. The report also includes that the number of women who have lost their lives since the attacks began on October 7 has reached 9,000, and many of them have remained under rubble.

UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said that Gazan women suffer from such problems as giving birth under the conditions of war, and being exposed to sexual violence, and that their teams are working on providing support to them.
