US Attorney General Questioned Over Epstein Files

US Attorney General Pam Bondi testified before the House Judiciary Committee in Washington, USA, over the Justice Department’s handling of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. Lawmakers from both parties criticized incomplete redactions in the released files, including some victims’ names.

Democratic Representative Pramila Jayapal demanded an apology, which Bondi rejected while referencing past impeachment efforts against former President Donald Trump. Republican Representatives Thomas Massie and Chip Roy also questioned the redaction process.

Bondi said the department “did our best” to meet a legal deadline and confirmed that investigations are ongoing. Asked whether convicted accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell could be pardoned, she said, “I won’t speculate.”
