US Homeland Security Chief’s Bag Stolen in DC Restaurant

US Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem had her bag stolen while dining at Capital Burger in Washington, DC. The stolen bag contained $3,000 in cash, ID, passport, house keys, medications, and a DHS access card.

Surveillance footage showed a masked man discreetly stealing the bag while Secret Service agents were present nearby. Authorities have not confirmed if Noem was specifically targeted. Former Secret Service officer Jonathan Wackrow called the incident a “security breach” warranting investigation.
