The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced the completion of a 13-night wave of military strikes targeting Iranian command centers, drone depots, communication networks, and maritime capabilities. The extensive operation aimed to reduce threats to civilian seafarers in the Strait of Hormuz, with CENTCOM confirming that “commercial vessels continue to navigate the strait freely with the support of the US military.” Inside the country, Iranian media reported multiple explosions across cities including Ahvaz, Khorramabad, and the vital port of Jask, leaving at least two people injured in Bandar Abbas. Iranian air defense systems were also activated east of Tehran to intercept the incoming bombardments. The United States continues to maintain a massive regional presence, with over 50,000 military personnel currently deployed throughout the Middle East.
