US Strikes 90 Iranian Targets After Ceasefire Violation

US forces launched a second consecutive day of airstrikes against Iran, hitting approximately 90 military targets overnight. According to the US Central Command (CENTCOM), the operation targeted air defense systems, coastal surveillance, missile depots, and naval assets. CENTCOM stated the operations were designed “to further weaken Iran’s ability to attack commercial ships” after Tehran violated a ceasefire by targeting three vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. This latest wave follows a previous night of strikes against roughly 80 military targets, including over 60 Revolutionary Guard patrol boats. The Iranian Ministry of Health reported that the two days of strikes across five cities have resulted in 14 deaths and 78 injuries.
