US Vice President James David Vance met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem to discuss regional issues and the Gaza ceasefire.
Netanyahu said Israel and the US share “a partnership, not control,” rejecting claims of dominance between the two allies. Vance echoed that view, saying, “We don’t want a slave state; we want a partnership,” and highlighted hopes to strengthen regional cooperation through the Abraham Accords.
