Uzbekistan launched an aid campaign after the earthquake disaster in Türkiye, collecting tons of aid materials to be sent to the affected area. The aid drive was organized by the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Youth Our Future Foundation, Uzbek-Turkish Businessmen Association, Foreign Economic Relations Board, Türkiye-Uzbekistan Business Council and NGOs. Basic necessities like food, clothes, diapers, blankets, electric heaters, lanterns, and baby food were collected at the center established in Tashkent. The collected aid will be delivered to Türkiye by 4 cargo planes in 2-3 days. A press secretary of the Youth Our Future Foundation stated that Uzbekistan’s people were demonstrating exemplary brotherhood by collecting aid for Türkiye.
