Vetch Field in Bolu Blooms into Scenic Masterpiece

A field of Hungarian vetch planted in October has transformed into a picturesque scene in Bolu’s Mudurnu district in Türkiye. Following May rains, purple flowers bloomed amidst the green fields, forming a unique and stunning view.

The field, located on the road to Sarıyar village, has become a favorite spot for local photographers. Mehmet Çavuşoğlu, a local resident, remarked on the beauty of the spontaneous bloom, saying, “It’s a field at the entrance of our village. After the late season rains, this place bloomed wonderfully. Citizens often mistake these flowers for others when they pass by. The view is very beautiful.”

Hungarian vetch, valued for its high nutritional and protein content, is primarily used as animal feed.
