A memorial ceremony was held for the Turkish family of four, including two children, killed by Neo-Nazis who set fire to their houses in the Höhscheid district of Solingen, Germany, on May 29, 1993. During the ceremony, which took place in front of the house, authorities condemned racism and requested that the incident be brought to light as soon as possible. Nearby residents and representatives of non-governmental organizations who attended the ceremony left flowers on the barricades in front of the house.
