Hot air balloons took off in Cappadocia with Turkish flags hung in their baskets to commemorate the 100th anniversary of August 30 Victory Day. Tourists enjoyed the view from the sky in Cappadocia, a tourism center in Turkey known for its historical, cultural, and natural riches that is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. A balloon portraying the Turkish flag draws attention to the event. According to the chairman of the producing company, Mehmet Halis, the balloon was made solely for today’s celebrations and has a dome surface of 432 square meters.
More than 150 hot air balloons rose to the sky from take-off areas in and around Göreme, one after the other.
