Visitors flock to Göbeklitepe during the holiday

Göbeklitepe, which is described as the “starting point of history” for its 12 thousand-year-old history in Şanlıurfa in Türkiye, and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, was swarmed by visitors during Eid al-Adha.

“I came to Göbeklitepe for the first time. It is incredible, indeed. I travel here to see if we have enough archaeological excavations to support the belief that humanity began with Adam and Eve, as we think. I think this place is not being appreciated enough,” said Muhammed Çağrı, a visitor.
