Voting for local elections in Türkiye started at 08:00 local time. A total of 61.441.882 registered voters across the country can cast their votes in the schools determined according to their residence addresses until 17:00.
Meanwhile, mobile ballots boxes are being brought to houses of disabled voters who struggle leaving their homes.
“The participation is very high. We are doing our civic duty. We are here in every election,” said one voter.
