A striking waterspout formed off the coast of Iskenderun in southern Türkiye during the morning hours, capturing the immediate attention of coastal residents. The dramatic natural phenomenon was clearly visible from the shoreline and briefly sparked panic among bystanders. Quick-thinking onlookers managed to film the swirling vortex on their mobile phones as it moved steadily across the gulf. Fortunately, the spectacular funnel quickly lost its intensity and harmlessly dissipated as soon as it made landfall.
