In his speech at the 76th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), US President Joe Biden touched upon many issues, from climate crisis to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Biden said they are back at the table again in international forums, especially the UN, to draw attention and encourage global action towards common challenges.
He said that the US aims to deliver $100 billion in aid to developing countries in the fight against climate crisis.
The US will do what is necessary to ensure that Iran does not have nuclear weapons, adding that if Iran does its part, we are ready to return to the agreement with Iran, Biden said.
He also mentioned the longstanding conflict between Israelis and Palestinians, saying he believes in a two-state solution for peace in the region.
