A passenger train came across to the wildfire covering the railway further and 20 out of 48 passengers injured during the incident. After noticing the fire ahead, the machinist attempted to move backwards. However, panicked passengers jumped away the train by breaking the vehicle’s windows and the fire spread to the wagon.
The spokesperson of the railway brand Renfe said “They turned back after realizing the fire covering them but there were burn scars on them.” Three among the injured casualties are heavily wounded.
