Rota Nature Sports Club, dedicated to promoting the Türkiye’s Van Lake Basin and fostering nature awareness, recently completed a challenging winter climb. Sedat Karacan and Fatih Cıngü, club managers, navigated a demanding route with snow reaching up to 2 meters in thickness. The climbers successfully reached the cone of Süphan Mountain, overcoming a 250-meter, 45-degree slope. Despite facing freezing temperatures, the climbers enjoyed a breathtaking view above the clouds. The expedition aims to showcase the natural beauty of the region.”
