Woman Discovers Massive King Cobra in Car Hood in Thailand

In a village in Thailand’s Chanthaburi province, a woman discovered a massive snake when she opened the hood of her car after her dog alerted her with insistent barking. Authorities were promptly contacted, leading expert teams to the scene. The snake, identified as a “king cobra,” measured 4.25 meters in length, weighed 16 kilograms, and is known as one of the world’s most venomous snake species. The expert officer who safely removed the king cobra described it as the largest snake he had ever handled. Following the operation, the team posed for a photo with the captured snake. The king cobra, believed to have sought refuge in the vehicle’s engine compartment due to extreme heat, was later transferred to the Thailand Wildlife Conservation Center for protection.
