An attempt to break the record of forming the biggest horon circle, which is a Turkish folk dance, was made in Türkiye’s Trabzon with the participation of the Trabzon Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Board yesterday on Women’s Day. A total of 200 people, consisting mostly of women, held hands and played horon while the attempt was being recorded to be delivered to the authorities in the Guinness Book of World Records.
“We aim to get into the Guinness World Records Book. We made the necessary application. Notary representatives here will give us the records in a registered form, and we will deliver them to Guinness. Our next target is to gather 2,161 people,” said Trabzon Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Board President Ahsen Aydın.
