world’s largest natural skyscraper: Uçhisar

Uçhisar Castle, which is the largest fairy chimney in the Cappadocia region that formed millions of years ago in Nevşehir, Türkiye and became a central structure after being carved, is the largest natural skyscraper in the world with a height of 179 meters. Being the only place that offers the opportunity to view Cappadocia’s natural beauty from above, the structure attracted more than 300,000 domestic and foreign tourists in 2022.

The giant fairy chimney had been inhabited by Uçhisar locals until the 1960s.
