The ‘yellow spotted salamander’, also known as the ‘Turkish salamander’, which is in danger of extinction, was seen in the Kozluk district of Batman, Turkey. Veysi Adanır, who was taking a walk in the Alıçlı village of Kozluk at night, noticed that there was a kind of reptile on the way. “While I was walking on the road, I noticed that there was a kind of reptile that was moving. Since I knew it was a harmless species, I took it in my hand, petted it a little bit, and then released it back into the wild,” said Adanır.
