A magnitude of 6.3 earthquake shook Greek island of Crete, European Mediterranean Seismological Center stated. The epicenter of the earthquake was 124 kilometers southeast of Heraklion, and it was recorded at a depth of 8.7 kilometers. Aftershocks with a magnitude of 3.5 were reported following the earthquake. No casualties have been reported to date.
