Nepal is facing problem with waste management. In capital Kathmandu garbage from homes and various business piled up in open spaces, and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Office is not able to move them to landfill sites. It has been over 15 days that garbage dumped on roadsides.
A 75-year-old woman named Suryal Kaya, living in Istanbul, found an injured owl stuck between the window and balcony at her home. She took the owl in, and has been taking care of the bird for two weeks. She said she will release it back to nature once the owl recovers. Hasan Tik
