Two pilots and 4 passengers, including 3 doctor were killed when a small plane crashed in Guayas province, western Ecuador on Wednesday. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the accident.

Greenland’s main opposition party ‘Inuit Ataqatigiit’ has won the early parliamentary election. The left-wing Inuit Ataqatigiit secured 37% of votes and Its rival, the ruling social democratic ‘Siumut’ party has won 29% of votes, according to official results. Inuit Ataqatigiit which has strong environmental focus campaigned against an international mining project in Kvanefjeld.
