A time-lapse video shows the Milky Way over Beijing’s Miyun Reservoir. The reservoir is located in Miyun District and a major drinking water source for Beijing, China which serves over 10 million people. The reservoir’s primary function has shifted from flood control to water supply to Beijing.
The marine mucilage covering the coastline of Istanbul for kilometers was viewed from space. Photos taken before and after the marine mucilage revealed the extent of the disaster. The photos show Kadıköy and Maltepe coastlines are piled up with mucilage which also partly outstand the coast.
