Forest Fires Kill 10 in Chile

Forest fires broke out in the central and southern parts of Chile, especially in the cities of Vina del Mar and Velparaiso cities, spreading to residential areas. The Valparaiso government announced that 10 people died in the city. Chilean President Gabriel Boric declared a state of emergency.

Chairlift Wire Falls on Skier in Uludağ

The broken wire of a double-sided rotating chairlift in Uludağ, Türkiye’s important winter tourism center, fell on the head of a Russian tourist who was skiing underneath it.
