brazil sends air rescue teams for sickened yanomami members

Brazil is taking action against the increased serious illnesses, such as malaria and pneumonia, that have arisen among Yanomami tribe, especially among children. The Brazilian government declared a health emergency in the largest indigenous reserve in the country and directed its airline to provide rescue services for the Yanomami tribe who live in more than 200 villages located in the Amazon rainforest between Brazil and Venezuela.
