Protesters took to the streets after the left-wing Lina E.’, Lennart A. Jannis R. and Jonathan M., who were on trial in Germany on charges of committing “serious acts of violence” against the far-right, were sentenced to prison. A brawl broke out between the police and the masked demonstrators, who gathered in Wiedebach Square in Leipzig, Germany. Numerous protesters and policemen were slightly injured.
