Dengue Cases Surge in Bangladesh, Hospitals Overwhelmed

Bangladesh is witnessing a rapid increase in dengue fever cases, sparking concerns among health officials. Within the past 24 hours, 211 new cases have been reported, pushing the total to 3,601 for the year. One person has died from the disease in the same period, bringing the total number of deaths to 27. The escalating outbreak has led to overcrowding in hospitals, with patients being treated in corridors due to the lack of space. Urgent measures are being called for as health facilities struggle to cope with the influx of dengue patients.
