dense fog causes massive multi-collision in China: 1 dies

Heavy fog in Zhengzhou, the capital of China’s Henan province, caused a chain accident involving 200 cars on the highway bridge over the Yellow River. Local sources reported 1 death and dozens of injuries. Eleven fire trucks and 66 rescue personnel were sent to the scene to save the survivors who were stuck in their vehicles for hours.

The visibility distance decreased to about 200 meters due to the fog.
