Ramadan excitement in Japan

The traditional fast-breaking dinner held in Tokyo Mosque in the Japanese capital, which is planned to be held every evening during the month of Ramadan, also attracted great attention from Japanese citizens. While dozens of Muslims experienced the excitement of Ramadan thousands of kilometers away from their countries, the Japanese attendants satisfied their curiosity about the Muslim tradition.

Mamiko Ikuto, a Japanese volunteer worker at the mosque, said that she was curious about the month of Ramadan because it has an important place in Islam, and therefore she fasts periodically in order to understand Muslims.
