Uzbekistan elects new president

More than 19 million 500 thousand registered Uzbek voters started going to 10,784 ballot boxes across the country since 08:00 local time to elect their new president. Citizens abroad will be able to make their choices in 56 ballot boxes established in 39 countries. Voting will end at 20:00.
