Torrential rains brought life to a standstill in the Şanlıurfa province of Türkiye yesterday evening. Some streets, houses, and businesses were flooded. The floodwaters damaged some cultivated fields in rural areas as well. No casualties were reported. Seventeen people lost their lives in a flood on March 15 in the province.
In the operation organized by the gendarmerie teams in Türkiye’s Karaman province, a historical talisman was found in the searched car. The talisman with Hebrew characters inscribed on a 4-meter-long python skin was confirmed to be from the Ancient Egyptian period. While the historical talisman was confiscated, the detained person was released after his statement.
