heavy rains and flash flood hit Chicago, US

The National Weather Service (NWS) in the United States issued a flash flood warning for parts of northern Illinois yesterday. In the state capital of Chicago, sewer and water drains exploded. The floodwaters gushing from the manhole flooded the streets, interrupting traffic. Heavy rains are expected to fall across the state today.
