The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) reported that a 6.1 magnitude earthquake stroke off the coast of Nicaragua. The earthquake occurred 99 kilometers southwest of Managua, the capital of Nicaragua, and at a depth of 30 kilometers. It is not yet known whether there was loss of life and property in the earthquake.
