A Turkish university student in country’s bordering province of Edirne in the west has turned her hobby, ornamental chicken raising, to a widespread business in the past 4 years. Simay Gün, 22, who studies radiotherapy, managed to turn her hobby to business after realizing that her products are in high demand in the market. She raised a couple ornamental chickens in her village and bred to varieties of over a dozen different chicken generation.
Gün can’t take overseas orders due to high demand nationwide. “I face difficulties in providing a staggering number of chicken to secure all orders I take” she added.
